    Hoang sent 22 texts

    Jina sent 32 texts

    Gorman sent 44 texts

    Step-by-step explanation:

    Let number of messages sent by

    Jina be j

    Gorman be g

    Hoang be h

    3 people total is 98, so we can write:

    j + g + h = 98

    Hoang sent 10 fewer than Jina, so we can write:

    h + 10 = j

    Giran sent 2 times as Hoang, so we can write:

    g = 2h

    Now, we substitute 2nd and 3rd equation in 1st and solve for h:

    j + g + h = 98

    h + 10 + 2h + h = 98

    4h + 10 = 98

    4h = 88

    h = 22

    We know j = h + 10, so j = 22 + 10 = 32

    j = 32

    And, we know g = 2h = 2 (22) = 44

    g = 44
