To prepare for a race, elijah ran every day for two weeks. he ran a total of 67,592 meters. elijah ran the same distance every day. he took a two-day rest and then started running again. the first day after his rest, he ran the same distance plus 1,607.87 meters more. how far did elijah run that day?

    67592 meters in 2 weeks ... 2 weeks = 14 days ... 67592 / 14 = 4828 ... so he ran 4828 meters per day.

    4828 + 1607.87 = 6435.87 meters for that day <==
