    A. Deena did + 25 instead of - 25, since 88 is the bill and 9x was the original cost, minus the discount of 25.

    B. 9X-25 = 88

    C." I bought some shirts at the store for $9 each and had to pay $25 worth of taxes. My total bill was $88. "

    Reason for C, because taxes would be an addition to the to the price of the 9 pants, and that is what is shown.
