jenny is comparing the cost of two packets of socks. one packet has 8 pairs of socks for $12. Another packet has 3 pairs of socks for $6. Are the rates equivalent? explain your response

    Socks:money 8:12 3:6 these rates are not equivalent. 8 is 2/3 of 12 while 3 is 1/2 of 6
