When the sum of a number and - 6 is multiplied by - 3, the result is 24

    No, 24 wouldn't be the correct answer. When multiplying two negative numbers it always turns positive. Other than that, multiplying two number will have the same answer. - 3*-6=18 misread my bad

    Number = - 14

    (-14) + (-6) = -8

    (-8) * (-3) = 24
