Let the probability that dessert contains chocolate be P (C) = 0.74, let the probability that dessert contains nuts be P (N) and let the probability that dessert contains both be: P (N and P) = 0.24

thus, the probability that randomly chosen chocolate dessert contains nuts will be given by:

    P (NIP) = [P (N and C) ]/P (C)

plugging in the values we obtain:

    P (NIP) = 0.24/0.74=0.324=32.4%

    Answer: B]32.4
