    The first job pays 880 dollars per week.

    the second job pays 790 dollars per week + 12% commission on sales.

    Now, how much will he need to sell to be able to get the amount as much as the first job offers.

    => 750 *.12 = 90

    => 790 + 90 = 880

    Thus, he needs to have a sale of 750 dollars so he can get 90 dollars commission + his 790 dollars salary to be able to get as much as the first job salary.
