Marcia has a sunflower garden. The plants are currently 36 inches tall and are growing at a rate of 4 inches each week. Write an equation that represents the height, H, of the sunflower plants, where w is the number of weeks.

H = 36w - 4

H = 36w + 4

H = - 4w + 36

H = 4w + 36

+4

    I believe the correct answer from the choices listed above is the last option. The equation that would represent the height of the sunflower plants would be H = 4w + 36 where the initial height of 36 signifies the b in the equation. and the rate 4 is the slope m.

    Hope this answers the question. Have a nice day.
