Shirley is going to have her home painted. Tim"s painting charges $250 plus $14 per hour. Colorful paints charges $22 per hour. How many hours would the job need to take for Tim's painting to be a better deal?

    It would take greater than 31.25 hours for Tim's price to be better. So in terms of whole hours it would take at least 32 hours of work for Tim's price to be better.
