If 3/4 + 1 1/3 = 5/6-x, then x=

    To solve this equation, you need to solve for x by putting all the variables in one side of the equal side and the numbers on the opposite side. And to make the equation easier, I changed 1 and 1/3 into a fraction - which would be 4/3.

    3/4 + 4/3 = 5/6 - x

    And to make the whole problem much easier, I made all fractions have a common denominator.

    9/12 + 16 / 12 = 10/12 - x

    25/12 = 10/12 - x

    -x = 15/12

    x = - 15/12

    And now you simplify them to get - 5/4.

    Answer: - 5/4
