There are two jugs with milk. In the second jug there are four times more liters of milk

than in the first one. If we added 15 liters of milk to the first jug, there would the same

amount of milk in both jugs. How many liters of milk are in the jugs?

    Both the jugs have 20 litres of milk in them

    Step-by-step explanation:

    Let the quantity of mil be x

    Jug 1 = x

    Jug 2 = 4x

    x+15=4x

    15 = 4x-x

    15 = 3x

    x = 15/3

    x = 5

    Jug 1 (initial) = 5 litres

    Jug 1 (after adding) = 15+5=20

    Jug 2 = 4*5 = 20 litres

    Both the jugs have 20 litres of milk in them
