The new perimeter of the shape is 160 meters.

If you are adding 10 meters to both sides, you are adding 20 meters onto the length and the width.

Our new dimensions are 46 by 34.

To find the perimeter, add up all 4 sides.

    46 + 46 + 34 + 34 = 160
