68 more than the quotient of an unknown number and 54 is 72. What is the equation for the statement shown? Let x represent the unknown number.

    I'm going to use an equation to solve:

    68+x/54=72

    x/54=9

    x=486

    The equation is 68+x/54=72

    The solution is 486 (this is an extra; I solved it before actually reading the question sorry)
