Tina and Tracey are putting 70 things from their present lives into a few boxes, and they are going to bury the boxes so they can dig them up in the future. If each box can hold 30 things, how many boxes will they fill and how many things will not make it into a

box?

    They can fill two boxes each = 4 boxes

    With 10 each items left over. That saying 70 items each, the question does not use the term each so together 70 items is now half of 4 boxes.

    So they would fill two boxes between them and have 10 items left over between them.
