1. Edward goes to the store for back to school shopping. He buys 4 new

shirts and a pair of jeans. The jeans were on sale for $20. The shirts all

cost the same amount. He spent a total of $52. How much did a single

shirt cost?

    Each shirt costs 8 dollars.

    4 Shirts 1 Pant

    1 Pant=20 dollars

    52 (total) - 20=32

    4shirts divides by 32 = 8

    So 8 dollars per shirt
