A game store had 837 amiibo they were trying to sell. they sold 5/9 at normal price. then sold 3/4 of the ones that were left at a discount. how many amiibo did they have left after selling the discount ones?

    they sold 5/9 at normal price

    5/9 (837) = 4185/9 = 465 were sold at normal price

    they sold 3/4 of the remaining ones ... remaining ones are : (837 - 465) =

    372 ... so they sold (3/4 * 372) = 1116/4 = 279 at a discount price

    so after the discount ones were sold, they had (837 - 465 - 279) = 93 remaining
