A farmer owns a total of 14 acres of land. The land is separated into 5 5/6 equally sized sections. How many acres are in each section?

    I think it would be 14 : 5 5/6 = 2 2/5.

    So we know a farmer owns 14 acres of land, and it's split into 5 5/6 equally sized sections, so we can divide 14 by 5 5/6 to get our answer:

    14 : 5 5/6 = 2 2/5.

    There are 2 2/5 or 2.4 acres of land in each section.
