If 2 kilograms of strawberries cost $4.50, how much would 3 kilograms cost?

    Find the cost of 1 kilogram, by dividing the cost of 2 by 2:

    4.50 / 2 = $2.25 per kilogram.

    Now multiply the cost of 1 by 3:

    2.25 x 3 = $6.75 for 3 kilograms.
