Triangle ABC has side lengths 10, 14, and 26. Do the side lengths form a Pythagorean triple? Explain.

    By Pythagorean triple

    a²+b²=c²,

    c should be longest side

    10²+14²=26²

    100+196=676

    296 ≠676

    so sides do not form Pythagorean triple, it is not a right triangle
