    Let y be the original price

    Yx. 25 = 2.25

    .25y = 2.25

    Y = 2.25/.25

    Y = $9

    If The Calendar Was Discounted By 75%:

    100 - 75 = 25

    25% = $2.25

    $2.25 • 4 = $9.00

    So In That Case, The Answer Would Be $9.00

    If The Calendar Was 75% Of The Original Price:

    75% = $2.25

    $2.25 Divided By 3 = $0.75

    $0.75 • 4 = $3.00

    So In This Case, The Answer Would Be $3.00
