The perimeter of a rectangular garden is 37.5 feet (ft). The width is xx, and the length is 15 ft. What is the width, in feet, of the garden?

    P = 2 (l+w)

    Plug in the values for perimeter and length then solve for width.

    37.5 = 2 (15+w)

    18.75 = 15+w

    3.75 = w

    The width is 3.75 ft
