    3x - 4y = 11

    For (3, - 8) : 3 (3) - 4 (-8) = 9 + 32 = 41 ≠ 11.

    For (4, 4) : 3 (4) - 4 (4) = 12 - 16 = - 4 ≠ 11

Neither ordered pair is a solution.
