A small hose fills a swimming pool in 20 hours. A large hose connected to a different water supply feels the same pool in 12 hours. With the pool empty the owner turns on the smaller hose at 6 AM. He turns on the larger hose it 8 AM. Both hoses are used between 8 AM and 10 AM. What percent of the pool is full at 10 AM

    The small hose running for 4 hours fills up 4/20=20% of the pool

    The large hose running for 2 hours fills up 2/12=16.66% of the pool

    Both hoses in total fill up 20+16.6=36.6%
