The world population in 2013 was estimated to be 7.1 billion people, and it is increasing by about 1.1% per year. Assume that this percentage growth rate remains constant through 2025.

    I think:

    from 2013 to 2025 are 12 years

    so the percent will increase: 1.1 x 12 = 13.2%

    population in 2025: (100%+13.2%) x 7.1 = 8.0372 billion people
