13 (3+2x) - 1=10 solve for x.

    Distributed property to remove parenthesis

    39+26x-1=10

    Subtract 39 by - 1

    38+26x=10

    26x=10-38

    Subtract 38 both sides

    26x = - 28

    Divide 26 both sides

    X = - 28/26

    Answer is

    X = - 14/13
