    To sub

    solve for 1 variable

    solve for x

    minus 6y both sides on second equotn

    x=18-6y

    sub 18-6y for x in other equation

    2 (18-6y) - 3y=-24

    36-12y-3y=-24

    36-15y=-24

    minus 36 oth sides

    -15y=-60

    divide - 15 both sides

    y=4

    sub back

    x=18-6y

    x=18-4 (4)

    x=18-16

    x=2

    x=2

    y=4

    (2,4)
