Matt cut a circle into 8 equal sections. He drew an angle that measures the same as the total measure of 3 of the sections in the circle. What is the measure of the angle Matt drew?

    One revolution of a circle is equal to 360°. Since Matt cut the circle in 8 sections, each of the section will measure 45°. Then, by totaling 3 of these sections we get an answer of,

    total measure of three sections = 3 x (45°) = 135°

    Thus, the answer is equal to 135°.
