Kasey had 45 tickets for games at the school carnival. She used 1/3 of her tickets to play the spin the wheel game. She used 1/3 of the remaining tickets to play a balloon game, where she won 8 more tickets. How many things cleats did Kacey have after playing these two games?

    45 original tickets then 1/3 goes away. Find that answer mathematically. then subtract your answer from 45 to get the remaining 2/3. Those are the used playing the balloon game. I am not sure what it means by cleats ...

    23; 45 (1/3) + 45 (1/3) = 30. 45-30=15. 15+8 (the tickets she won) = 23.
