Given the area of a rectangle 4x - 10 square units

    To factor it

    4x - 10

    = 2 (2x - 5)

Given the factor of the area of the rectangle, the dimensions can be concluded. Since A = LW, so the length of the rectangle is 2 units and its width is 2x - 5 units.
