    To find the hypotenuse use the formula c=√a²+b². Also it doesn't matter which numbers replaces a or b, just remember that the hypotenuse is always the greatest number.

    c=√9²+2²

    c=√81+4

    c=√85≈9.22 inches

    Well, the formula is a^2 + b^2 = c^2. Put your numbers in your equation. 9^2 + 2^2 = c^2. Now simplify the left side. 85=c^2. Now find the square root from both each side. The answer is = ~9.22. But I don't see the answer, sorry
