You sell a smartphone that was originally priced at $600 but is now on sale for 20

% off. You give a loyalty customer an additional 10% discount. What is the total percent of discount the customer receives on the purchase?

    total discount = 20%+10%=30%

    original price of the smartphone = $600

    30% of 600 = 30/100*600

    =180

    so total discount is $180

    The price after discount = 600-180=420 $
