Julie takes her dog on long walks. It takes them 1/4 of an hour to walk 2/3 of a mile. How far will they have walked after 1.5 hours?

    A quarter of an hour is 15 minutes. An hour and a half is 90 minutes. To get from 15 to 90 you multiply 15 by 6. You then multiply 2/3 by 6. 12/3, which is then simplified to 4 miles. The answer is 4 miles.
