Hello! To turn 8/10 as a percent, just write out and solve a proportion. It would be set up like this: 8/10 = x/100. Percent is parts of 100 and you want to know the percent that 8/10 would be, so you put the "x" up top. Cross multiply the values. 8 * 100 is 800 and 10 * x = 10. You would get 800 = 10x. Now, divide each side by 10 to isolate the "x". 800/10 is 80. x = &". There. 8/10 as a percent is 80%.
