Jill just made a purchase online. The store that she bought from gave her the option to pay with a check, money order, or credit card. The item will not be shipped until her payment arrives. Why would Jill want to use a credit card instead of a money order or check?

    If Jill pays with a credit card, her payment will be recorded immediately. This means that the item could be shipped almost as soon as she pays for it. On the other hand, if she uses a check or money order, then her payment will take a while to be received, as she would have to send the physical item over the mail. Therefore, she would receive her package earlier if she paid with a credit card.

    The credit card is instant. She'd have to ship the money order and the check to the supplier.
