U have to get matching denomretors so

    6 and 3 should match

1/6+2/3 we multiply the fraction by two up and down so they could match so

1/6+4/6 now add the top and keep the bottom so 5/6 same for substitution but division and multiplication are different

    1/6+2/3=5/6

you make the denominator the same then you add them as if there is no denominator
