    Given:

We need to find the factors of 36 and 48.

    1 x 36; 2 x 18; 3 x 12; 6 x 6

    1 x 48; 2 x 24; 3 x 16; 4 x 12

There are 3 shelves for jazz CDs. Each shelf contains 12 CDs.

There are 4 shelves for coutnry CDs. Each shelf contains 12 CDs.
