Jamal is making pancakes. He has 6 3/4 cups of batter, but he needs a total of 12 cups. How much more batter does Jamal need?

    Jamil has already 6 3/4 cups of butter.

    He need 12. SO in order to get the needed butter, we subtract 6 3/4 to 12.

    = 12 - 6 3/4

    = 11 4/4 - 6 3/4

    = 5 1/4

    So Jamil needs 5 1/4 cups of butter to achieve the 12 cups.
