There are 3 islanders fans for every 11 ranger fans. what is the ratio of islander fans to total fans at the game

    So a ratio would be:

    variable 1 : variable 2

    So in this case, variable 1 would be islander fans, and variable 2 would be total fans.

    Total fans would be 3 fans + 11 fans, or 14 fans.

    So, it would therefore be:
