    1 portion = 4oz

    1 can = 48oz

    1 can = 12 portion

    240 portions : 12 portions = 20

    1 case 8 cans

    answer = 2 cases

    2.5

    Step-by-step explanation:

    Multiply 240 by size of individual portion (4 oz.) = 960

    Divide answer by standard can capacity (48oz.) = 20

    Divide the resulting number of cans needed by the number of cans in a case to obtain the number of cases. (20 / 8) = 2.5
