Kyle's bowl of cereal has 5 blue marshmallows, 2 yellow marshmallows, 3 pink marshmallows, and 4 green marshmallows. if he picks one marshmallow at random, what is the probability that the marshmallow is green?

    To be able to answer this item, first we add up all the number of marshmallows. That is,

    n = 5 + 2 + 3 + 4 = 14

    Out of the 14 marshmallows, only 4 of which are green which will lead us to the answer to this item being equal to 4/14 or 2/7.
