Angle one and angle two are a linear pair. M angle one = 3x-30, and angle two = x+76. Find the measure of each angle.

    linear pairs are supplementary so their sum equals 180°

    (3x - 30) + (x + 76) = 180

    4x + 46 = 180

    4x = 134

    x = 33.5

    ∠1: 3x - 30 = 3 (33.5) - 30 = 70.5

    ∠2: x + 76 = (33.5) + 76 = 109.5

    Answer: ∠1 = 70.5°, ∠2 = 109.5°
