    The total of the grades = 3.12 * 14 = 43.68

    one student drops out ... leaving 13 students ... new total grades added is : 43.68 - 2.41 = 41.27

    2 new students arrive ... now we have a total of 15 students.

    new total grades are : 41.27 + 3.97 + 4.26 = 49.50

    and the new GPA average is : 49.50/15 = 3.3 <===
