    Your mixed numerals are hard to understand.

    I assume it's 5 2/3 yd by 9 1/3 yd,

    $634 2/3.

    Area = (5 2/3 yd) (9 1/3 yd)

    Area = (17/3 yd) (28/3 yd)

    Area = 476/9 yd^2

    Cost per sq yd = ($634 2/3) (476/9 yd^2) = $12/yd^2

    The price was $12 per square yard.
