In regards to the work - energy theorem, what must be done to increase the kinetic energy of an object?

    The work-energy theorem states that work done on an object by a net force results in a change in the kinetic energy of the object. This means that positive work done on an object will result in an increase in the kinetic energy of the object and negative work will result in a decrease in the object's kinetic energy.
