A factor is a number that is exactly divisible by a number. Factors of 35 are 1, 5, 7, and 35
35 divided by 1 = 35 just like 1x35=35 same goes for the other If you divide 5 by 35 you will get a whole number. 4 would not be a factor because if you divide 4 by 35 you will not get a whole number you will get a fraction of a number
