    The volume formula for a rectangular prism is 1/2bhl.

    First you have to convert 6 in. into cm. Which is 15.24

    Next you multiply 1/2bhl.

    1/2 (15.24) (12) (8)

    The answer is 731.52 or 731.5 rounded.

    The volume of a prism of this type is

    v = (1/2) x B x h x H

    (1/2) x 15.24 x 8 x 12

    = 732
