    -3x + 4y = 10

    4y = 3x + 10

    y = 3x/4 + 10/4

    y = (3/4) x + 2.5 comparing to y = mx + c, where m = slope.

    Slope m = 3/4 = 0.75

    In y = mx + b form, the m represents the slope.

    so put ur equation in that form ... ur basically just solving for y.

    -3x + 4y = 10 ... add 3x to both sides

    4y = 3x + 10 ... divide both sides by 4

    y = (3/4) x + 10/4

    Now what is the number in the m position ... the number before the x?

    It is 3/4 ... so that is ur slope
