A local college student will be randomly selected to attend a leadership conference in washington D. C. There are 2020 lacal college students of which 40% are male 480 of the college students are gradruate students and half of the gradruate students are female. Which of the following best represents the probrability that the selected college student will be a male student or a gradruate student?

    Graduated : 480 among which 240 are (F and graduated) and 240 are (Male and graduated)

    40% of 2020 are Male : 808 = = > (Male and non graduated) : 808 - 240 = 568

    therefore:

    Male or Graduated = (Male and non graduated) + Graduated (M or F)

    = 568 + 480

    = 1048

    and therefore:

    1048/2020 = 51.88%
