Greg build a new pond which has a volume of 7.35m3. It is 4.2m long and 50cm deep. What is the width of the pond?

    Volume = length * width * depth

    width = Volume / (length * depth)

    width = 7.35 / (4.2 *.5)

    width = 3.5 meters

    Double Check

    Volume = 4.2 *.5 * 3.5 = 7.35 cubic meters correct!
