What are the zeros of the polynomial function f (x) = x^3+2x^2-24x?

    Immediately, we can factor an x out of each term to simplify the polynomial.

    x (x^2 + 2x - 24)

    In doing this, we know the first zero will be x = 0.

    Using the AC method, we can find the next two zeros.

    x (x - 4) (x + 6)

    The zeros, or x-intercepts of the polynomial, are 0, 4, and - 6.
